Your week is designed to balance world-class padel training with relaxation, wellness, and unforgettable experiences.
Day 1 – Welcome to Ubud
Arrive in Ubud and settle into your traditional Balinese jungle suite, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful nature. Take some time to unwind and explore the surroundings. In the evening, join a welcome dinner with Arcadia to kick off the retreat and connect with the other players.
Day 2 – Play & Reset
Begin the day with breakfast followed by your first on-court session. Coaching and guided match play are designed to elevate your game in a relaxed, social setting. Spend the afternoon enjoying yoga, a restorative massage, or time to unwind, before heading into Ubud town for live music and dining.
Day 3 – Explore & Experience
Start with a morning of padel before exploring Ubud’s cultural highlights. Visit the Monkey Forest, discover ancient temples, or take part in a traditional Balinese purification ceremony. Spend the evening unwinding and enjoying Ubud’s peaceful atmosphere.
Day 4 – Chasing Waterfalls
Start the morning with a visit to Gembleng Waterfall, with a stop for traditional Luwak coffee along the way. Alternatively, head to Tegallalang for breakfast overlooking the rice terraces. Return to the courts in the afternoon for coaching and match play.
Day 5 – Rest Day
Take on the Mount Batur sunrise hike for views over Bali’s volcanic landscape. Alternatively, explore Ubud at your own pace, with massages, shopping, cafés, or cultural experiences.
Day 6 – Padel & Recovery
Return to the courts for another day of coaching and match play. Spend the afternoon recovering with a Madero massage or a sound healing experience at the Pyramids of Chi.
Day 7 – Tournament & Farewell
Put everything into practice at the final-day tournament, with friendly competition and fun on court. In the evening, head out for a farewell dinner and show to celebrate the week.
Day 8 – Check Out
Enjoy a final yoga session or spa treatment before checking out and heading to your next destination.
Throughout the week, the itinerary features cultural visits, waterfalls, rice terraces, a sunrise hike, sound healing, and evenings out. Inclusion and any additional charges for these activities should be confirmed with the organiser.
Daily breakfast, daily yoga, access to an open gym, sauna and ice bath, and four 90-minute spa treatments are all included. A final-day tournament is also scheduled.
DOES THE TWO-PERSON OPTION MEAN I SHARE WITH A STRANGER?
No. If you are coming solo, you should choose the “one person” option. If you are coming with a friend, partner, or sibling, select the “two people” option. If you’re coming as a larger group, we can arrange alternative accommodation (such as a villa) for you.
I HAVE NEVER TRAVELLED SOLO. DO MOST PEOPLE COME WITH FRIENDS OR IN COUPLES?
Most of our players come solo — and they absolutely love it! The Padel Retreat is a great way to meet like-minded people, make new connections, and explore the island together.
WHAT IF I AM COMING WITH SOMEONE, BUT THEY DON’T WANT TO JOIN THE ACTIVITIES?
No problem! In that case, you would select the “one person” option, and you will still share the accommodation.
CAN A TOTAL BEGINNER JOIN?
Yes, all levels are welcome. However, we recommend having a basic understanding of the rules and trying a few matches or lessons before joining us, so you get the most out of the experience.
HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE WE PLAY WITH PEOPLE AT OUR LEVEL?
We send a detailed questionnaire before the retreat to help our coaches understand your level. Players are grouped based on abilities to ensure balanced sessions. During game time, we organize matches and tournaments with retreat players and local expats to make it dynamic and fun.
Please note that past camps may sometimes differ in format or location, so individual experiences can vary.
